Dear Friends,

We're taking Lustrs.com offline today. If you were a member, your account and all personal data have been permanently and securely destroyed. Nothing remains on our servers or in any backups.

We built Lustrs because we believed the lifestyle deserved better tools—simpler, more private, and actually built for the community instead of against it.

The biggest obstacle we encountered wasn't technology or funding. It was gatekeeping. Too many parties, clubs, and events still refuse to work with new platforms. They're afraid that if they list on a fresh site, the bigger, established platforms will deplatform them. That fear is real, and it's understandable. But by quietly accepting and supporting this behavior, our community has kept itself stuck. We've blocked the very innovation that could give us safer, easier, and more enjoyable ways to connect.

The lifestyle only moves forward when we stop protecting the old gatekeepers and start rewarding the builders who actually want to improve it.

We hope the next person who tries will face less resistance than we did.
